Full job description:
  • Handle quantity surveying (QS) responsibilities from pre- to post-contract stages.
  • Responsible for proposing preliminary project requirements, preparing cost breakdown, project tenders, cost and budget planning, progress claims, and final accounts.
  • Attend meetings such as tender interviews, site valuations, and negotiations with clients or main contractors on all project-related matters.
  • Negotiate pricing and award sub-contracts.
  • Coordinate with site personnel to monitor work progress and status.

Requirement:
  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a related field; experience in the stainless steel or metal industry is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of contract agreements.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills, strong team spirit, and the ability to interact effectively with project teams, sub-contractors, and clients.
Salary Details RM3500 - RM5000
