Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage annual regional business plans, including quantitative and qualitative targets, aligned with countries sales strategy; ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

  • Act as a pioneer for untapped and emerging markets, setting a strong example for the regional sales organization through proactive exploration, strategic foresight, and hands-on leadership.

  • Conduct in-depth market research to assess product perception, pricing competitiveness, and service quality; recommend new market entries, product adaptations, or customer segments.

  • Collaborate closely with local sales unit ensuring alignment on regional strategies, sharing market insights, and jointly driving sales performance and customer engagement.

  • Shape a competitive valve portfolio by integrating strategically selected traded products with in-house offerings to meet regional market needs.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.

  • Expand the regional distribution network by identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new sales partners in collaboration with local sales teams.

  • Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.

  • Track and analyze regional sales KPIs, working closely with sales teams and Business Units to ensure performance targets are met.

  • Support the execution of segment-specific sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

  • Prepare and maintain sales documentation, including presentations, reports, and product information.

  • Provide analytical support for strategic projects, such as data evaluations from CRM systems (e.g., C4C).

  • Initiate and drive new sales campaigns, ensuring timely follow-up and performance tracking.

  • Conduct pricing analyses and implement pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness and profitability.

  • Coordinate product-related marketing needs, acting as the liaison between regional teams and the group marketing department.

  • Ensure high standards of customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements, contributing to cost reduction and process optimization.

  • Support customer relationship management, including analysis and development of engagement strategies.

  • Contribute to streamlined reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate business insights.

  • Create content for internal communications, such as articles or updates for the valve division intranet.

  • Manage regional sales reporting, ensuring consistency and transparency across all channels.

  • Serve as the key contact for regional sales initiatives, coordinating efforts across departments.

  • Maintain regular communication with regional sales teams, ensuring alignment and progress on strategic initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  
  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in a related field AND 10 years of experience in manufacturing sales or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent Analytical Skills with an ability to utilize MS Office Tools
  • Proactive mindset and action-oriented approach
  • Persistence and determination
