Job Details

Responsibility:

  • Manage daily operations of a Japanese restaurant to maximize efficiency, consistency, and quality in food and service delivery.
  • Oversee restaurant management and sales planning, and implement related initiatives.
  • Handle cost control and develop/execute effective measures.
  • Lead staff management, including hands-on training and maintaining service quality.
  • Plan and implement marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and growth.
  • Engage with customers to solicit feedback, ensuring continuous improvement in the dining experience.
  • Oversee recruitment initiatives, including workforce planning and hiring.
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and discipline, ensuring adequate staffing levels and smooth daily operations.
  • The primary workplace shall be Gen Izakaya & Ramen; however, support may also be required at Gen Yakiniku & Bar.
  • All duties related to the operation of a Japanese restaurant, including those arising from the above responsibilities, shall be included within the scope of this role.
 

Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager (experience in Japanese restaurants is a plus)
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible working hours and environment
  • Strong communication skills in English (Japanese proficiency is an advantage)
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Salary Details RM5000 - RM7000
