| Job Details | Transformer Design & Engineering
- Design isolation transformers based on electrical, safety, and performance requirements
- Perform magnetic calculations including core selection, winding configuration, losses, and efficiency
- Design transformers for applications such as medical equipment, industrial power supplies, automation systems, and control panels
- Define insulation systems to meet isolation, creepage, and clearance requirements
Analysis & Validation
- Conduct thermal, electrical, and efficiency analysis to ensure compliance with specifications
- Evaluate short‑circuit, inrush current, and overload conditions
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities
- Analyze test results and implement design improvements
Standards & Compliance
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards (e.g. IEC, UL, EN, IEEE)
- Prepare technical documentation for certification and regulatory approvals
- Ensure safety, EMC, and reliability requirements are met
Documentation & Production Support
- Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical datasheets
- Support transition from design to manufacturing
- Assist production teams with technical queries, design optimization, and cost reduction
- Provide technical support for customer inquiries and engineering changes
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with electrical engineers, mechanical designers, and quality teams
- Participate in design reviews and problem‑solving activities
- Identify opportunities for design standardization, cost optimization, and performance improvement
