Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Management & Compliance
    -Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems in line with IATF16949
    -Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits
    -Ensure compliance with customer-specific and regulatory requirements
     
  • Problem Solving & Improvement
    -Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone
    -Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
    -Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
     
  • New Product Introduction (NPI)
    -Participate in APQP activities
    -Develop and review Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Flow
    -Prepare and submit PPAP documentation
     
  • Supplier & Customer Quality
    -Manage supplier quality performance and corrective actions (SCAR)
    -Conduct supplier audits and evaluations
    -Interface with customers on quality issues, complaints, and audits
     
  • Production Quality Support
    -Monitor process quality using SPC
    -Support production teams in resolving quality issues
    -Implement poka-yoke (error-proofing) solutions
     
  • Reporting & Documentation
    -Track and report key metrics such as:
      PPM (Parts per Million)
      First Pass Yield (FPY)
      Scrap and rework rates

Job Requirements:
  • EducationBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing / Automotive or equivalent)
     
  • Experience
    -3–5 years in automotive manufacturing (Tier 1 preferred) preferred.
    -Experience dealing with OEM customers is an advantage
    -Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC
     
  • Technical Skills
    -Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and Core Tools
    -Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
    -Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T
    -Proficient in tools such as Excel and Minitab
     
  • Soft Skills
    -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    -Effective communication and stakeholder management
    -Detail-oriented and results-driven
    -Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment

  • Preferred Certifications
    -Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt
    -Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) – ASQ
    -IATF 16949 Internal Auditor
